Hamilton's frog (Leiopelma hamiltoni) is a primitive frog native to New Zealand, one of only four extant species belonging to the taxonomic family Leiopelmatidae. It is named after Harold Hamilton.[2] The holotype is in the collection of the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.[3]
